Binding Agreement
By accessing this website or purchasing any products, services, classes, or memberships, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use this website.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

Orders & Contract Formation

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

A contract is formed only when we send written confirmation of acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock issues.

If payment has already been taken, a refund will be issued.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed securely via:

Debit and credit card payment providers
We do not store full card details.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.
For orders over £200, clients may choose to either pay the full amount upfront or pay 50% of the total (excluding shipping) as a non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due prior to dispatch.
In both cases, 50% of the total order value is considered a non-refundable deposit, as it secures my time and materials for your commission.

Shipping & Delivery

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events outside our control.

International shipping is provided on request. Customers are responsible for shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, and import charges.​

Specialist Art Courier​
​
Because taxidermy pieces are exceptionally fragile, this delivery option provides the greatest level of protection to ensure your item reaches you exactly as intended. I use Aardvark Art Services Ltd as my trusted specialist courier, as they are experienced in fine art transportation and handle every taxid shipment with the utmost precision and care to safeguard against damage.
Shipping is currently UK based, if you have an international shipping request please get in touch.

Royal Mail | Parcelforce
​
Royal Mail Special Delivery before 1pm is the only service available. This is a tracked and signed service which offers the most reliable service all round. This service ensures next day delivery before 1pm. You will be provided with a tracking number upon dispatch.
​
Please take in to account that I cannot be held responsible for damage during transit using this method of delivery and it will not be covered by compensation unless requested at extra cost. For some parcels that fall outside the Royal Mail size specifications and for items being shipped overseas using this method, Parcelforce will be used. This is a courier company in partnership with Royal Mail.

Classes, Workshops & Events
All class, workshop, and event bookings are strictly non-refundable (see Cancellation Policy below).
We reserve the right to:​

Change venue (within reasonable distance)

Reschedule sessions

Cancel events where necessary
Where we cancel, liability is limited strictly to the refund of the booking fee.
We are not responsible for travel costs, accommodation costs, loss of earnings, or other consequential expenses.

Services
Where services are provided:

Specific results are not guaranteed.

You are responsible for providing accurate information.

We reserve the right to refuse service where behaviour is inappropriate, abusive, unsafe, or in breach of these Terms.

If you are commissioning by providing your own animal a working agreement contract will be provided with your invoice. You will be required to digitally sign this and return it by email before any animal is accepted or delivered to the studio.

Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, course materials, photographs, downloads, and resources remain our exclusive intellectual property.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any materials without prior written consent.
Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product or service.

Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Government restrictions

Pandemics

Supply chain disruption

Internet or technical failures

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
​
Because each taxidermy and entomology piece is bespoke, Hannah Matthews Taxidermy is unable to accept returns, except in cases where the wrong item has been sent. Every product is carefully crafted, described and photographed to accurately represent its appearance. If you encounter any issues with your item upon receipt, all efforts will be made to resolve them. For any questions about your order or anything else, please feel free to get in touch.

CLASS & WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY
All classes, workshops, and events are strictly non-refundable.
By booking, you acknowledge and agree:

Your place is reserved exclusively for you.

No refunds will be issued for non-attendance.
-
No refunds will be issued for late arrival or early departure.
Transfers:
-
Transfers to another individual may be permitted with at least [48 hours] written notice.
-
Date transfers are at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.
If we cancel a session, your remedy is limited to:

A rescheduled date; or
-
A refund of the booking fee only.
We are not liable for any indirect costs (travel, accommodation, childcare, loss of earnings, etc.).

Acknowledgement of Risk
By booking or attending any taxidermy or entomology class, workshop, event, or session provided by Hannah Matthews Taxidermy, you acknowledge and agree that:

Participation may involve physical activity and/or the use of sharp equipment and chemicals.

There are inherent risks of injury, illness, property damage, or other harm.
-
These risks may arise from your own actions, the actions of others, or the condition of the premises or equipment.
You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, injury, or damage of all kinds arising from participation.

Fitness to Participate
You confirm that:

You are physically and medically fit to participate.

You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or limitations in advance.

You will stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or distress.
If you are unsure about your ability to participate, you agree to seek medical advice before attending.

Personal Responsibility
You agree to:

Follow all safety instructions and guidance provided.

Use equipment only as instructed.
-
Behave responsibly and respectfully.
-
Not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any individual whose behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Participation is at your own risk.

We shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.

You will be required to sign a risk acknowledgement and liability waiver release form on arrival. Failure to do s0 will result in non admittance to the class without refund.

Personal Property
We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought to classes or events.
​
Photography & Media
We may take photographs or videos during classes for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing beforehand.

Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, you consent to emergency medical treatment being sought on your behalf if required. You agree that any associated costs remain your responsibility.

Agreement
By booking, attending, or participating in any class, workshop, or event, you confirm that:
