Pet Memorials

You have my heartfelt sympathies during this incredibly sad time.

​

Although our time with them is never long enough, our pets leave us with a lifetime of treasured memories. Choosing the right way to honour those memories is a deeply personal decision. Whether that is through taxidermy, a keepsake, fur preservation, or another form of memorial, what matters most is finding something that feels completely right for you and celebrates the life and companionship of your loved one.

Preserving a pet is one of the most challenging areas of taxidermy. When you have known them so closely, you instinctively recognise the subtle details that made them unique the little characteristics that made them who they were.

It is important that owners understand that while every effort is made to honour your pet's appearance and character, taxidermy preservation is best thought of as a memorial to celebrate their life, rather than an exact recreation of how they looked in every moment. My aim is to create a respectful tribute that captures their spirit and preserves the memory of the companion you knew and loved.

I offer a range of services listed below. These are a selection of taxidermy preservation services and cast memorials which produce a replica of certain elements but in plaster or resin. I also offer a cremation service should you wish.

  • Taxidermy Full Mount

  • Taxidermy Partial mounts (for example taxidermy tail or ears memorial).

  • Shoulder mount (a wall mounted memorial of the head and shoulder area)

  • Taxidermy paw memorials

  • Paw prints in ink on paper

  • Paw casting plaster memorial

  • Plaster face cast memorial

  • Skull cleaning

  • Framed fur section (a taxidermy preserved area of your pet's fur in a frame).

If you are experiencing the loss of a pet and you are unsure of which route is right for you the best thing to do is wrap them well airtight plastic bags, without towels or blankets and then freeze them as soon as possible. This will allow you to take the time you need and consider all options.

Paw Preservation

A taxidermy service preserving one or more paws of your pet. Different coloured and style bows are available upon request. 

Partial Preservation

A taxidermy service preserving elements of your pet you wish to remember.

Framed Fur

A preserved area of your pet's fur using the taxidermy process. Different style, size and colour frames are available upon request and can be custom made for specific requirements. Please reach out with any ideas you may have. 

Paw Plaster Casting

A casting service producing an exact replica of your pet's paws in plaster.

Nose casting

A resin nose cast replica of your pet's nose.

Facial Plaster Casting

A casting service producing a replica of your pet's face in plaster that can be wall mounted if required.
