About the event

The velvety jet black Cyriopagopus Minax is a burrowing spider reaching up to 14cm. It's agressive nature has lead it to be known as "The Asian Tiger" with its size also earning it the title "Bird Eating Tarantula."

Join me in my historical beachside studio for a hands-on experience in preserving these large and impressive creatures.

During this event you will be guided step by step in the preparation and pinning process, learning about the tools needed and techniques to using them. No previous knowledge is required for this class and you will leave with your own sustainably sourced tarantula, entomology pins and pinning board.

The duration of this class is approximatly one and half hours but may vary due to ability.

Students are encouraged to bring a drink as refreshments are not available.
